The Workshop Theatre Group presents William Shakespeare's classic play full of action, murder and revenge.  HAMLET runs through April 6, 2008.  This 90- minute adaptation of the Bard's  most famous play features six professional actors and will be performed in the newly dedicated BENJACK STUDIO THEATRE at the Todd Rosenlieb Dance Center located at 325 Granby Street in downtown Norfolk, Virginia.  Tickets are on sale now at TRDance!  Call 757 626 3262 for tickets or info.  Don't miss this timeless masterpiece!

THERE'S NO PLACE LIKE HOME

 The Workshop Theatre Group is proud to call the newly christened Benjack Studio Theatre at the TRDance Center in  Norfolk, Virginia "HOME."  The theatre seats up to 150 people and the playing area can be arranged in a multitude of ways in this state of the art space.  The Benjack Studio Theatre will host many different arts activities and performing groups and WTG is excited to be part of this fantastic venue.  It is located at 325 Granby Street in downtown Norfolk and  was made possible in part by a generous matching grant from the Norfolk Foundation with support from Claire and David Benjack and others. Nijinsky's Last Dance

at the

Dublin Gay Theatre Festival in May!

The Workshop Theatre Group's production of Norman Allen's, Nijinsky's Last Dance, starring Ricardo Melendez, was a huge hit at last summer's Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Edinburgh, Scotland.  Although the competition was fierce, (2,050 shows in 250 venues in 27 days), WTG's Nijinsky's Last Dance earned rave reviews and was listed as the "Critic's Choice" by two publications, including the country's largest daily newspaper, The Scotsman.  We sold out several performances and we were one of the best selling shows at the festival.  Now we're heading to Dublin, Ireland for the Dublin Gay Theatre Festival May 5--10,  2008.  A week later, we'll be in Marbella Spain!
